Built Up Flat Roofing
This method has been used for such a long time because the materials and process make the cover strong, flexible and resistant to impact. By layering ply with mineral felt and bitumen and heating them to form one layer a waterproof membrane is formed. These roofs have an excellent life span and can be relatively cheap and easy to maintain.
Single Ply Membranes
Advances in technology has introduce new methods of flat roof installation. Materials such as EPDM, rubber, Torch on SBS and GRP are now alternatives to felting and are good for large flat surfaces.
